White House Museum, the People's House (Washiongton D.C., United States)
Just a stone's throw from the White House, The People's House offers an immersive museum experience that immerses visitors in the history of this iconic residence and the personalities who have shaped it. Spanning 3,000 m², the museum features faithful replicas of fifteen major rooms, including the legendary Oval Office, a reconstruction of the Rose Garden, and interactive galleries incorporating connected objects, touch screens and scenographic projections.
Outside, a huge curved LED wall catches the eye of passers-by with dynamic visuals and synchronised lighting. Inside, spectacular installations such as the Dollhouse, a detailed model of the White House, and the State Floor Immersive Theater, with its 4K projections, allow visitors to rediscover the history of the building from a new angle. The Cabinet Room, using Pepper's Ghost illusion technology, stages historic debates with former presidents and members of the government, in a unique interactive experience.
Designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates and produced by D&P, Museum Studio's American subsidiary, The People's House was awarded the Inavation Award 2025 in the best project category Museum & Heritage. National Air & Space Museum (Washiongton D.C., United States)
Le National Air and Space Museum is one of the world's most iconic museums, dedicated to the fascinating history of aviation and space exploration. It houses an unrivalled collection of historic aircraft, spacecraft and artefacts, attracting millions of visitors every year.
It set itself the challenge of completely rethinking its original museum before its fiftieth anniversary in 2026. As a trusted partner since 2018, Museum Studio manufactured and installed the first eight exhibition spaces as well as several communal areas as part of this gradual transformation.
This iconic museum, designed to display life-size aircraft and spacecraft, imposes an impressive scale. The exhibition furniture, designed and created by experts, has been designed to match this spectacular scale and showcase fascinating artefacts. Through these new galleries, the museum invites visitors to explore the history of mankind's conquest of the skies and space.
The Burrell Collection (Glasgow, UK)
Museum Studio has been selected by Glasgow Museums to design the masterplan for the renewal of the museum. Burrell CollectionGlasgow's iconic museum houses one of the world's most remarkable collections of decorative and visual arts. Charged with redesigning the 8,000 m² of exhibition space, Museum Studio came up with a staging concept in perfect harmony with the building's modernist architecture and its exceptional natural setting.
More than 200 bespoke display cases were created to ensure the preservation of 21st-century collections, while incorporating an approach focused on accessibility, sustainability and aesthetics. The exhibition space has been extended by 35 %, optimising circulation and making the museum more inclusive.
This major project has helped to make the Burrell Collection the winner of the prestigious " Art Fund Museum of the Year 2023″.
