Olivier Buquen is Deputy Managing Director of the Chargeurs Group, in charge of Financial Affairs and Group Performance. A graduate of Essec Business School, Sciences Po Paris and Harvard Business School, Olivier Buquen began his professional career in 1988 as Head of Communications for the Bolloré Group.
In 1990, he joined the Paribas Group's Finance Department. He joined the Group's General Secretariat in 1996, before becoming Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas Lease Group Italia in Milan in 1999.
On his return to France, Olivier Buquen continued his career with the Plastic Omnium industrial group. A member of the Group's Executive Committee from 2002 to 2009, he was successively Development Director of Plastic Omnium Environment, Managing Director of Compagnie Signature (European leader in road signage, with sales of €230 million and 1,500 employees), and then Development Director of the Plastic Omnium Group.
Olivier Buquen was Interministerial Delegate for Economic Intelligence (2009-2013), reporting to the President of the French Republic, then Economic and Financial Controller General (2013-2016), then Chief Financial Officer of the Chargeurs Group, before becoming Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2024.
