(1) 2022 is the reference year for the indicators relating to the Group's carbon trajectory and for water consumption.
Target 2030 : Increasing the number of major suppliers (2) committed to the climate (3)
(2) Major suppliers are those accounting for more than 50% of the business lines' purchases by value.
(3) Climate-concerned suppliers are suppliers who meet two criteria: their carbon footprint is based on operational data (= not estimated) and they have set targets for reducing their greenhouse gas emissions, if possible along a trajectory compatible with the Paris Agreement.

To limit water consumption, the Novacel SpA site in Italy has succeeded in reducing its water consumption per surface area produced by 39 % between 2020 and 2023. This performance can be attributed in particular to steam recovery and optimised water management in production.
