Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is an Italian-French artist and performer, renowned worldwide for her dual career as a model and singer-songwriter. After studying architecture, she began modelling at the age of 19, signing with the Parisian agency City Models. She worked with some of the world's leading fashion houses (including Chanel, Dior, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent and Ralph Lauren), and modelled on the covers of prestigious magazines such as Vogue, She or Harper's Bazaar. She has also been the face of the Italian jewellery brand Bulgari.
In the early 2000s, she turned to music and became a singer-songwriter. Her first album Someone told me (2002) was a huge success, winning her several awards, including Female Artist of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique awards. Since then, she has pursued a musical career.
First Lady of France from 2008 to 2012, she uses her fame to support humanitarian causes, notably through her foundation, which is committed to promoting access to culture and education. She also supports international initiatives in the fields of health and solidarity.
This appointment will be subject to ratification at the next Ordinary General Meeting of the Company called to approve the financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2025.
